Day 1: Tarangire National Park Safari

Your day starts with a pick-up early in the morning from the Arusha hotel you picked. You will be given a short safari lesson and introduced to your experienced guide. Then you will take a beautiful drive to Tarangire National Park. There is a lot of different wildlife in this park, and the baobab trees are very famous.

Drive through Tarangire in search of animals in the morning or early afternoon.
Your game drive starts as soon as you enter Tarangire National Park. Don’t forget to bring your camera as you discover the park’s different ecosystems. Elephants, lions, giraffes, and many bird species live in these areas. Your knowledgeable guide will share interesting facts and ideas about the plants and animals in the park.

Late afternoon: lunch and some free time

After watching wildlife for a while, take a break and eat a tasty picnic lunch in the park. Enjoy your food while taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush. Take it easy and enjoy the natural beauty of Tarangire during this time.

Drive for more games from late afternoon to early evening

You should continue your game drive in Tarangire so that you have more chances to see more animals. Watch out for animals gathering near the Tarangire River. Many kinds of animals come there during the dry season.

Evening: Go back to Arusha

As the day ends, start your trip back to Arusha while thinking about all the amazing wildlife you’ve seen and the beautiful scenery you’ve seen. Your guide will make sure you get to your Arusha hotel safely, which is the end of your one-day safari journey.
