12 Days Kenya Uganda Safari

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel

When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport on the first day of your 12-Day Kenya Uganda Holiday Safari, our expert safari guide will meet you and tell you about the safari. They will then take you to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Travel to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After a tasty breakfast, our car guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Masai Mara Game, stopping along the way to see and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. The Maasai Mara is the most famous place in Africa to see wildlife. It has rolling hills and beautiful fields that are home to some of the most diverse wildlife in Africa.

Get there in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will go game watching, where you can see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelles, and many other animals. It is also a great place for birdwatchers to stop. Get back to the camp in time for dinner and the night.

Day 3 & 4: Full Day at Masai Mara

As you enjoy your breakfast, get ready for a full day of game drives in a beautiful park that is in the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. Along with other predators, the reserve is home to the largest number of cats. It will be lunchtime in the middle of the bush near the Mara River, where you will see many animals stopping to drink.

You can see a lot of different kinds of animals on your full-day game drive, such as elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You’ll go back to the lodge in the evening for food and a night’s sleep. Dinner and the night.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

After a tasty breakfast, you’ll head to Nakuru National Park, stopping in Narok town for lunch on the way. During your trip, you will stop at Lake Naivasha, where you can choose to take an hour-long boat ride. You will keep going to the park until you get there in the evening for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and Transfer to Uganda

You will have a great time on a game drive in Nakuru National Park’s open grassland after breakfast. Millions of pink flamingos and other water birds visit the park every season, making it famous. If you’re lucky, you might see rhinos, zebras, gazelles, buffalo, leopards, waterbucks, and more on the game drive.

You’ll go through Eldoret and Nakuru town. You will be driven to Jinja for dinner and the night after passing the border.

As you rest at your hotel, you can enjoy the cool air near the Nile.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After a delicious breakfast, you will drive south through Hoima on your way to Kibale Forest National Park.

Tea farms in Fort Portal will amaze you with their beauty. You will stop in Fort Portal for lunch on the way. After lunch, you’ll need to drive for another hour to get to the lodge. When you get there, check into the lodge and take it easy. Dinner and the night

Day 8: Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale National Park

You will have a delicious breakfast in the morning and then be taken to the park offices for a safety briefing. After being briefed, you will go meet the park ranger who will walk with you through the forest trails as you look for great apes. Once you find them, you’ll have an hour to watch them do things like eat, play, and enjoy taking pictures and videos, among other things.

More than 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda’s Kibale National Park, which is home to more monkeys than any other park in the world. It is also known for having 13 different kinds of monkeys. As for other primates, you can see the black and white colobus, the blue monkey, the grey-cheeked mangabey, the red-tailed monkey, the olive baboon, and many more.

It could take two to three hours to find the chimpanzees. After that, have lunch at the lodge.

Later that night, you’ll go on a walk through the Bigodi swamp, where you can see many kinds of birds and smaller animals. Dinner and a place to stay the night.

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will be taken to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will be able to see the beautiful Mt. Rwenzori hills. Upon arrival at the park, go on a game drive to see animals such as elephants, buffalo, bushbucks, Uganda kob, antelopes, warthogs, and more.

For lunch, go back to the lodge. You will go on a two-hour boat ride on the beautiful Kazinga Channel after lunch. The waterway runs for 42 km and links Lake Edward to Lake George.

Hipos, elephants, crocodiles, and more than 600 different kinds of birds will be easy to photograph while you’re on the boat. Drive to the cabin for dinner and the night after the boat ride.

Day 10: Morning Game Drive in Ishasha sector and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, you will be taken to Ishasha, which is in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park and is known for having cats that climb trees. You will go on a game drive where you might see topis, buffalo, elephants, and the rare tree-climbing lions high up in fig trees.

After that, you’ll drive out of the park and to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is through the Kigezi Highlands, which have terraced hills and roads that wind around them. You will enjoy the beautiful view of the Kigezi terraced hill on the way. Get there in the evening for food and a night’s stay.

Day 11: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast early in the morning and bring your lunchboxes with you. Then, you will be taken to the park offices to learn about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking. Following this, park guards will give you walking sticks and lead you along a forest trail to look for chimps. You will have an hour to spend with the gorillas after you get there. Depending on where the gorillas are, the walk can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours.

The gorilla badge will be given to you when you get back to where you started, since you saw them. After that, meet your car guide and be taken to Lake Bunyonyi. There, you will visit a few islands on the lake, which are great for birdwatching, or you can go for a nature walk along the lake’s edge. Dinner and the night.

Day 12: Departure for Kampala /Entebbe

After breakfast, you will leave for Kampala. You will drive out of the park to begin the long trip back to Kampala. Along the way, you will have a great chance to take pictures at the equator. Stop for lunch on the way, and then continue driving to Kampala. Going to Entebbe or Kampala and getting there in the evening.
